Organizations/Clubs: I frequently volunteer at Lacy-Hill Community Outreach and the Caring Place Foundation. Both of which serve the community I grew up in. On campus I serve as the treasurer of Black Student Union. I am also an active member of Women In Aviation, Art Club, and Theater.

Why are you passionate about aviation?

I was first introduced to aviation my sophomore year of high school. Aviation 1 was a course that just happened to fit in the empty spot in my schedule. Little did I know, this would be the class that would start my burning passion for aviation. I went on to take all of the aviation courses my school offered. I entered college as an aviation maintenance major, and have spent my first two years earning my airframe and powerplant license.

Something that I quickly noticed was the lack of people who looked like me in these classes.

I am passionate about aviation because I want to serve as a positive role model and mentor, as well as create a path for underrepresented minorities to get exposure to the amazing world of aviation.

What is your future aspiration?

My future aspiration is to run a foundation that exposes youth to aviation and also offers scholarships to help fund training in different aviation fields such as flight, maintenance, and management.

Why did you choose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT?

I chose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT because I believe that my aspirations align with the Tuskegee NEXT mission statement. The Tuskegee Airmen worked hard and overcame many obstacles, unfortunately many of those obstacles still remain, such as lack of black aviators. Tuskegee NEXT is a great program and I am blessed to be a cadet.
